After School I’m looking at Cordelia. Her eyes look back at me, but it feels like she's seeing the wall behind me. This happens about half way through most of our conversations. Somehow I find myself almost five days after the tornado destroyed my home town writing this and wondering....I'm alive. I've seen my high school I graduated from flattened. Worried about my friends and co-workers at work and ran to my managers house after it hit praying to god I wouldn't find her there. Somehow through all this I watch people in my neighborhood that I never talked to before coming over and asking how I am. Asking if I need anything or if I'd been able to contact my family. Strangers are giving their days away trying to help us clean up what used to be our city. It wasn't a grand city. And certainly wasn't very pretty but i
